“The expression “Everyone is mad”, completed in Lacan’s text with the words “that is, delusional”, is not without a kind of grating sound. Indeed, the imputation of madness and delusion is still considered a clinical matter. It is to assert, it seems, the end of the clinic, but in terms that belong to the clinic. However, this is not the only paradox introduced by this aphorism. Indeed, who is the one saying that everyone is mad? It can only be a madman.”
